This page explains, in calm general terms, how availability usually works when the date moves.

Tell us as soon as you know

The earlier you share a new date, the more options we can explore. Send the original booking reference, the new date or date range, the city, and whether the getting-ready address is the same. We will review what is open and follow up with next steps.

Deposits and the booking itself

In many cases, a deposit already on file can transfer toward the new date when you rebook with us. Exact handling depends on the timing of the change and the details of your booking, and we discuss that privately in your conversation with our team. We do not publish deposit percentages or dollar amounts on the website.

A date move is a new availability check. Transferring a deposit does not automatically lock the same schedule or the same artists.

Artists are not guaranteed after a move

Artist calendars fill around the original date. When the wedding moves, the people who were reserved for you may already be booked elsewhere on the new day. We always try to place experienced artists who fit your brief, and we cannot promise the same individuals will be available after a postponement.

If keeping a particular artist matters to you, say so when you write. We will be honest about what is possible.

Trials and timelines may need a refresh

If you already completed a bridal trial, we will note that in your file. Depending on how far the new date sits from the original, you may want a quick refresher, especially if hair length, color, or the dress neckline has changed. Morning timelines should also be rebuilt around the new ceremony and photo times.
