Camera-ready looks, built for the light

Shoot makeup is shaped for the light you actually have. We set skin so it holds under strobes or sunlight, then refine between setups instead of overloading product at the start of the day. Close focus needs careful matching and a finish that fits the brief, whether that's soft and skin-like, polished matte, or more editorial.

Hair is planned for movement, heat, and outdoor conditions when locations are part of the day. If the shot list includes several wardrobe changes, share the look count early. That helps us build a timeline with enough reset time and the right level of support.

On-set support that stays with the day

Prep alone can be enough for a focused headshot with one look. Longer days, multiple looks, outdoor moves, or beauty work where skin is the product usually benefit from an artist who stays for touch-ups. Tell us which you need, and we'll plan realistic hours instead of guessing.

Artists arrive with a professional kit. If a brand needs specific products on camera, send those notes up front so the chair is ready before first frame.

We come to the studio or location

Studio days are easiest with a dedicated corner that has a chair, a table, and power, plus clear parking notes. Certain artists bring their own chair and lights as well. Location houses and lofts work well when there's a bright table and a quiet place for changes. Hotel holds help when talent is traveling in. Outdoor days just need a little planning for sun, wind, and shade so the work stays clean.

Los Angeles and San Diego are home markets we know well, and we also travel when a shoot needs support in another city. If overnight travel or longer distances are part of the plan, possible travel or accommodation fees are explained clearly in your quote.

What to share when you reach out

A short brief goes a long way: date, city, getting-ready address, how many faces and looks, call time, expected wrap if you want touch-up coverage, references or wardrobe notes, and a photographer or producer contact on site. The clearer the picture, the better we can plan.
